The Trevian Juniors program is for girls ages 6-10 in the North Shore area. The program is overseen by our Player Development Committee and led by experienced softball coaches and High School and College Trevian players. The Trevian philosophy supports and encourages all girls to play multiple sports for as long as they are able. With this in mind, we have developed the Juniors program to provide a high level softball experience while still allowing the cross training, athletic development, and growth that comes from playing other sports. Our emphasis is on skill development and having fun while learning and playing softball.
The Trevians believe that commitment is a part of skills building, and we require this with our spring programs. The Trevian Junior programs are scheduled to allow commitments to other sports in the softball offseason. Listed below are the various program options offered and a description of the commitment levels required for each.
Juniors Spring Session
*All girls other than the 10u team will participate in the first 2 weeks of the Juniors Spring Session. After two weeks, the 9u team will be formed and will work together during the Juniors sessions. Girls that were not selected or those who did not wish to be part of this team will continue in the Juniors sessions together.

Evaluations and Placement
Evaluations are done during our clinics for girls that wish to make a commitment to the Trevians for the Spring 10U team. Girls not offered a spot in the fall or winter for the 10U team will be able to participate in the Fall and Winter clinics and the Spring/Summer Juniors program. In the spring, these girls will be considered for spots on the 10u or 9u teams (if age 9u). Many girls improve their skills over the course of the year and may earn a spot in the spring or the next year. For this reason, we encourage everyone to continue to participate in the clinics and the Juniors Spring Session. Our goal is to place girls appropriately based on their development and put them in the best position to succeed. Our main goal is that we want them to have fun so they will want to continue to play this great game of softball.
