Tori Nyberg Mental Skills Training Workshop for the Female Athlete:
Coming Fall/Winter 2017: Trevian Girls Softball Association will be presenting another Mental Skills Training Workshop to the community. Tori Nyberg will be the keynote speaker for the event. After graduating with a master’s degree from Northwestern in 2009, Tori left her coaching job at NU in 2010 to pursue work as a sport psychology consultant and counselor. In 2012, Nyberg started Elevated Performance Counseling, a sport psychology consulting business. Through Elevate, Tori works with teams and individuals to train them in mental skills that will put them in the best position to succeed, on and off the field.
Trevian Girls Softball is offering this to all female athletes and their parents, not just those who participate in softball. TGSA is presenting this program to the community to complement their own philosophy which promotes building self-esteem and the confidence to take on difficult challenges later in life. This nonprofit organization wants to help all female athletes – regardless of the sport – to enjoy success in sports and in life.
