Irene Margiotta

Irene Margiotta is a 2015 graduate of West Morris Mendham High School in Mendham, New Jersey and a 2019 Graduate of Middlebury College. She played for the Central Jersey Lightning fastpitch organization and was a four-year varsity starter for both basketball and softball at West Morris Mendham, serving as team captain for both sports during her senior year. Over the past three summers, Irene has worked as the assistant coach and head pitching coach for the North Jersey Avalanche 18u softball team.

 At Middlebury College, Irene spent most of her time in the circle. She was selected team captain her senior year. Also during her senior year, she set the program single season records for innings pitched (130.1) and complete games (18). In addition to athletics, Irene also served as a First Year Counselor and Peer Tutor on campus. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Middlebury College, double majoring in English and Education Studies. Irene recently moved to the Chicago area for her first teaching job at North Shore Country Day School, and is very excited to carry her passion for the sport over to the Midwest!

Sarah Bennett

Sarah Bennett played with the Trevians 18u for two seasons. She is attending Carthage College studying Sports Communication. Sarah has been a middle infielder her entire softball career.  At Libertyville High School, Sarah played four years of varsity softball and 2 years of varsity swimming. During her time on the softball team they won 3 regional championships (2017,2018, 2019) and conference champions in 2017 and 2019. She was awarded all-conference and all-area in 2019. This will be Sarah’s second year coaching for the Trevians and she is looking forward to many years of coaching ahead!

The Trevian 12Us open their 2019 season with a double-header vs. Elite Fastpitch on May 4!


Tryouts for Trevian 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, and 18U teams. All players, including returning Trevians, must register and try out to be eligible for 2022-2023 season.

Trevian Girls Softball Association teaches juniors to 18U girls basic, intermediate and advanced softball skills, which they are able to practice in league play and competitive tournaments.
