Trevians Fastpitch is having a supplemental 10U tryout Saturday August 22, 2026, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. for players born 9/1/15 or later. That tryout will be held at DUKE CHILDS FIELD (New Trier Varsity Field), 1321 Willow Rd. in Winnetka.

2026-2027 COACH ANNOUNCEMENT:

Trevians Fastpitch announces the following coaching staffs for 16U, and our top 14U, two 12U and top 10U teams for next year. Each top team will have a permanent year-round coach, available to be with the team through the entire year. Second team and third team coaching staffs will have college player coaches assigned as we determine their availability.

1. 16U: Mac Glinn and Harper Glinn CO-HEAD COACHES; fall assistants: Jess Nanut and Kylie Reichert.

Mac Glinn is a former baseball player at Kenyon College, where he pitched as a freshman and subsequently started both at catcher and at DH during his last three seasons. His senior year the Kenyon College baseball team set the record (since eclipsed) for most wins in a season. Since then, he has devoted his time to coaching his two daughters, Harper and Kennedy (a two-year Trevians 18U member, an Ari Chester award recipient, a CSL South All-Conference team member, and the current Trevians 12U White coach).

Mac's Co-Head Coach will be his daughter Harper. Harper is a seven-year member of the Trevians Fastpitch program who played on the Trevians 18 team for three of those years. harper is also a two-time Ari Chester Nominee, and a four-year Varsity starter at New Trier High School where she was twice named to the CSL South All-Conference team, and as a senior captain, received the Defensive Player of the Year Award. She will be attending Colby College in the Fall, where she will continue her softball career in the NESCAC.

Fall assistant Jess Nanut is the current varsity head coach at Niles North High School, and Kylie Reichert is Niles North’s lead varsity assistant coach. Both Jess and Kylie have coached in our program for five years.

2. 14U Blue: Sarah Bennett HEAD COACH; assistants: Maddie Molay and Grace Adame.

Sarah Bennett played on Trevians 18 Teams 3-4 and played shortstop at Carthage College. She is a current Trevians Board member and Commissioner of the North Suburban Fastpitch League. Sarah has coached at the 12U, 14U and 16U age levels. Maddie played on Trevians 18 teams 5-6 and was a pitcher at Macalester College. Both Sarah and Maddie coached our 16U team this year. Grace was a member of Trevians 18 Team 8, was a standout catcher and outfielder for us, and was an All-State selection her senior year at Palatine High School. Grace was co-head coach this year of our 12U Blue Team.

3.  12U Blue: Addison Varca and David Varca, CO-HEAD COACHES; assistants TBD.

Addy Varca played on Trevians 18 teams 9-10, where she was a standout pitcher. She graduated from New Trier this year, where this spring she was an All-Conference Selection. Addy spent her entire career as a Trevian starting at 12U, and has given private pitching lessons to and has coached our younger Trevs. She will be attending Purdue University this Fall. Dave is a past organization president and coach, who will be a full-time year-round Coach.

4. 12U White: Trinity Andelin and Kennedy Glinn, CO-HEAD COACHES.

Trinity Andelin is a sophomore at Bridgewater State University where she pitches and is an infielder. Trinity is a 2025 graduate of New Trier High School where she was a three-year varsity starter. She is also an alum of the Trevians 18 team, playing on it for two years.

Kennedy Glinn was a four-year varsity starter at New Trier High School who also graduated in 2025. Kennedy played for two years on the Trevians 18 team. Although talented enough to play fastpitch in college, she has turned her attention full-time to field hockey at Colgate University, where she is an NCAA field hockey goalie.

Trinity and Kennedy will return as the Co-Head Coaches of our 12 White Team for their second year in 2026-27.

5.  10U Blue: Colleen Hoffman HEAD COACH; assistants TBD.

Colleen Hoffman returns as our 10U Blue Head Coach. She is our second longest-tenured Trevians Coach. Colleen was also a high school varsity Coach. Colleen graduated from Denison University in 2019 where she was a decorated pitcher. She also played multiple years as a Trevians 18 player.
