What has playing softball taught you?
Playing softball has taught me so much about not only caring for myself, but also about caring for my team first and foremost. By holding myself accountable for my actions on and off the field, I have become a dependable teammate, leader, and role model to my fellow teammates. Thousands of hours spent to improve my game has taught me commitment. My problem solving skills and flexibility were developed through playing games when nothing is predictable. More than anything, the game of softball is a game of failure, so I have experienced failure and learned how to work through it. This can be difficult for many people to grasp, but it has made me into the mentally tough player and person I am today.
What was the most valuable part of your experience with Trevian Softball?
Making best friends and memories that will stick with me for the rest of my life.
What advice would you give to young softball players?
Love the game and enjoy every minute of it. When the time to hang up your cleats comes, all you will have left is the memories that you made so cherish it while it lasts.
